The Forum of Private business
The Forum of Private business was founded in 1977 as a not-for-profit membership organisation to support small private businesses and lobby the government on their behalf. Today we are one of the UK’s leading national business groups, with an enviable reputation for providing businesses and organisations like yours with the support, advice and protection you need to grow and prosper.
As a busy business owner, you don’t have time to do everything; that’s where Forum members have a big advantage over other businesses – you can get on with running and growing your businesses while the Forum looks after things.
The three main areas of cost are employment issues, health & safety and tax investigations which also take up a lot of your time. We provide advice in these three key areas as well as providing insurance cover for legal proceedings such as employment tribunals, tax investigations and commercial-related prosecutions.
Instead of paying £150+ per hour for a solicitor, you have immediate access to professional legal advice covering employment; commercial, contractual and health & safety – free and unlimited and you know you are protected from an aggressive HMRC tax investigation programme. So when issues crop up, you need advice, or employment contracts, or H&S guidance and policies, then just pick up the phone and it’s there. All are included in your membership.
And with the cost-saving opportunities and business resources that come as part of membership, there is almost certainly something for every business owner to help improve business performance, reduce costs and increase profits.
